Naw, I'm just kidding, I took them out for logical reasons. And I don't say 'dawg', I'm not my uncle.
I took the car seat out because if there's an emergency and I'm not home, my wife can travel with the neighbor. I took the back seat out because I needed more room for the snow shovel, then decided to keep it out because everything I had to put the car seat in, it was a hassle.

Well, one, money is tight and car seats can be expensive. Two, we got this car seat for free. My wife has 4 older siblings with kids, and there just happens to be a niece who is two years older than my kid (mine's 2). so it was very convenient. Also, the car seat hasn't expired yet, so that's another reason we took it.

Yeah, it's a whole new world when you become a parent. Especially that car seats have expiration dates. It's weird...but makes sense. The plastics become brittle after a while (in terms of years).
It also helps that my daughter is the 19th grandchild on my wife's side, and the 1st on mine. We've got tons on hand-me-downs or new clothes and other items. The only thing no one buys for her is HWs cars, which I've taken the responsibility for, :).
